My short biography and qualifications
Hi! My name is Oleksandr (or Alex), I am an economics and computer science student at Grinnell. Built over 10 major projects, from video games to automated machine learning models. Previously in Treevah LLC and allwraps.us as a software engineering and data analytics intern. Hackathon winner and 3 time MLH competition participant. Currently a third year Grinnell SLWS Farm to Table employee, computer science department’s tutor and Vivero Digital Fellow working together with Professor Kent McClelland on his “Eugenics in Grinnell” project.
Apart from career and academics, I am also passionate about traveling in the US, ancient Rome and Greece history, supporting my home country (Ukraine), supporting food security initiatives, mixed martial arts and weightlifting.
